The centre is run by the Outdoor Learning Service for Birmingham City Council for children to experience the outdoors and living away from home.  This is a site for all users of the centre, including children, parents and teachers.

Although the centre is primarily used by Birmingham schools from Monday to Friday in term time for day and residential courses, it can be booked by other organisations for use on a full board or self catering basis.  Day courses can also be arranged via the head of centre.  The courses can be run by the centre staff or visiting staff through consultation with the head of centre.  These courses will be mainly available during weekends and school holidays.  Costs for non-schools are calculated on an individual basis and reflect the staffing requirements and visiting numbers.

The STABLES ENVIRONMENTAL CENTRE has moved to Bell Heath's site.  Click here for more information
